Discovered on a trip to Florida in January 2025, these books immediately captured my heart. Created by the incredible Julie Woik, Lilly the Lash® is more than just a children’s book series, it’s a movement rooted in kindness, self-worth, courage, and imagination.

Each story is told through the eyes of Lilly, a clever eyelash who helps children navigate life’s big feelings and choices with gentle wisdom and humour. The values woven through these tales feel so needed in our world, and I knew I had to bring them home and share them with other families.

Meet the Author

Julie Woik is the author and creator of The Life and Times of Lilly the Lash®, a children’s book series dedicated to building character and confidence. With a background in psychiatry and early childhood education, she has a natural gift for connecting with kids and understanding their challenges.

Alongside her books, Julie offers a collection of free resources (lesson plans, craft ideas, puzzles, word searches, mazes, and fun facts) to support families and educators in making learning joyful and hands-on.

She lives in Sarasota, Florida, where she continues to write, create, and inspire - one meaningful story at a time.
